Introduction

If you've read the post called Common Sense and the Future on the Understanding Prophecies blog, you'll know that there are very good reasons why the weather conditions on Earth go crazy. The effect of this is that things will suddenly go wrong, so that the only way to get through things is to have done a little preparation. That means starting now.

To give you some idea, everyone will be trying to cope, and normal services, including electricity, gas, water, telephone, internet, shops and transport will be disrupted, along with problems that may force the Government to impose a curfew, just to maintain law and order and keep you safe. In fact, in some disaster scenarios, you may be ordered to stay indoors, where you will need certain basic supplies.

It's public knowledge that in the UK, if there is a large scale problem, the telephone system would be switched over to military use under Operation Cobra, because it couldn't cope with the strain anyway. That would take the phone, computer networks, internet, banks, cash points and credit card facilities straight out. Supplies to shops and fuel stations would also be unreliable.

To get through the plethora of problems that would suddenly happen, you need to have done some preparation, including some basic, sensible shopping. This blog aims to give you some pointers so that you can act now, while you can see them, and get what you need.

Hopefully we will be able to have some useful video tutorials here as well, and you are welcome to participate by sharing what you find. To give you a couple of examples, you might find a website or video about making shelters, or lighting fires. Please email useful things to snowball4.practicalities@blogger.com with a short, basic description of what the link is to. Thanks.
